Southside Homes

I’ve been living in Southside Homes for nearly 7 years and I am finally moving on to bigger and better. People who are from Charlotte seem to think this is the worst of the worst - it’s not. It’s actually decent if you work full time, have a life and don’t commingle with bad association. I’ve had a few annoying neighbors over the years but nothing too crazy. I’ve always worked full time and I mind my business. The office manager’s name is Andrea and I absolutely love her down. She has been supportive of me moving up in my career and anything that I needed from her to assist me with, she has been more than happy to help. The maintenance staff is great too. NO BUGS, EVER! Starting with the recent staff change, I must say you can feel the positive vibes and better treatment like not looking down on us acting as if some are beneath their feet. But the stay here is awesome! The maintenance is awesome! The grounds are kept. Bug free living what I definitely love here! I feel safe living in Southside Homes, but… The life coach will tell us to set a plan and achieve certain goals and that we will be awarded money incentives and look you in your face and tell you how you will receive it in the mail and that it’s on the way and you never see or receive the payment award even after I asked about it a month later, and then at the end of that year I received an email stating that the programs are now discontinued and will be pushing fss and homeownership and would I

I love southside homes veryyy fun when we be over there lots of field to fight in wasn’t a lot of shootouts like that I stayed in apartment 3414

This is hands down one of the worst apartments I’ve ever lived in my life. It’s not safe for kids , shootings in broad daylight , they have BUGS , and maintenance will leave you without electricity all weekend. 0/10 would NOT RECOMMEND!
