SouthPark Morrison

I’ve held off on writing this review because I wanted to make sure it was a “lived in” review. I’ve now been living here for a bit over 2 years now and love it! My apartment is spacious, the finishes are nice, the appliances and cabinetry are quality, and, due to the concrete and steel construction, it is so well insulated and quiet compared to most places, probably because these apartments were originally built to be condos. This also means the floor plans have a bit more variety than your typical complex, which I love! The gym and pool may not be as “shiny” as some of the newer places but they work just fine and are well taken care of! All the common areas are clean and well maintained. I absolutely LOVED living in this apartment complex! Tania Lopez, the property manager, and the leasing staff, always found a way to make my day brighter. They made me feel so welcomed and it was always a JOY to see them around the community. Professionally as well, they were responsive, friendly and prompt. The location is amazing, the apartments are absolutely huge and well appointed for the price and the neighborhood. The apartment complex has plenty of things to enjoy right at your finger tips and I would consider this part of Charlotte more of a “Life style” than just an apartment. All in all I highly highly recommend Morrison Southpark, and Tania Lopez, along with her staff. 5 star experience!

My Favorite gourmet food around South Park. New year’s dinner was delicious. Everything in there is delicious. Be at the mall is fun. Thank goodness for their Banana Cake yummy.

Let me start off my saying that there are some sweet, helpful individuals like Tania and this African American maintenance guy. They've also maintained the gym. However, this apartment is not in any way "luxury": 1) They don't vet prospective residents well - some residents have very poor etiquette, such as leaving trash in the parking lot, stairways, etc. Some leave the entire hallway stinking by leaving half of their trash outside of the valet trash bins. 2) They are so cheap that when they replaced the package delivery system, they didn't bother fixing the destroyed tiles - as a guest, that hits you in the face as soon as you walk into the building! They also charge residents for all packages left in the mailboxes after 3 days... So if you have to go out of town or travel for a few

Units are fine. Common areas are not well maintained. A big concern (and I don't know how much control over that they have), is that at the covered parking lot, at the 721 Governor Morrison address, levels P1 and P2 are always very dirty and dark and the area feels unsafe. Situation gets worse in the hot months, when infestations and garbage smell badly.
