Southgate Manor

I applied,paid 75$ application fee + 150.00 hold fee,however I was denied my work reference was contacted ,my current landlord wasn't notified, didn't check references ,what did I pay 75$ for ,I was told my 150 would be refunded haven't received it yet going on 14 days, called them they said 10 days first time now 30 days second time I paid the monies right when they wanted it looks like im going to court, they'll have to pay me 3× that ,its fraud

Southgate Manor is excellent! Holly and the office staff are wonderful, and Carl in maintenance does a fabulous job. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, clean, and friendly place to live. Both the apartments and the townhouses are worth it.

We really loved living here for our first place together. Holly and the maintenance team were absolutely lovely. Holly is one of the best landlords I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I would highly recommend moving into Southgate for anybody looking for an apartment in the city close to all city amenities.

UPDATE: I renewed my lease and have been here for a year and a half and ABSOLUTELY love it. It is peaceful, no loud craziness going on. They have pretty much filtered out anyone that was rambunctious. My children and I have loved living here, and again are VERY pet friendly and supportive ofpets. Pretty much one of the only pet friendly housing options in the area. Holly is still amazing and maintenance is THE BEST AND SO FAST!. From calling and getting information, to emailing questions, completed the application, and moving into the town house I rented it has been the smoothest process I could have hoped for. The staff is great but the pricing is not worth it for this house and my bathroom sink keeps getting clogged every couple of months for whatever reason. I’m disappointed.
