Southern Oaks Apartments

Welp, got a, tour coming up on March 2025! I've already been told they are beautiful inside & roomy, but my worry is what'll they be like 2-5 yrs from now!!! I've seen it happen, starts out a great safe place to reside, then the property mgmt gets pressure from their corp mgmt company to fill units, property mgmt gets lax on screening of move-ins & then BAM, the whole complex turns into "The Carter" from the movie New Jack City! I'll get back w/ya'll!!!!

I tried in 2022 to move here, and they never answer their phones or emails. Then, I tried again 2023, the same ordeal. Went to the complex, and the doors were closed during regular business hours. I thought maybe they went to lunch but there wasn't a sign. Came back 2 hours later and still closed. People were inside because the lights were on and the phones were ringing but I couldn't see anyone at the desk. Don't recommend this place. Luckily new, much nicer apts are opening up right across the street.

Horrible!!! These apartments are in total disrepair, old wood that been painted over again and again. No landscaping, no fencing. Back doors are ready to be kicked in. It doesn't feel or look safe by any means around there. Spooky, creepy, unsafe.

A guy name AJ or Theron Onemis is running a sham bordering house out of one of the apartments he owes me money and I’m calling code enforcement…

I had a family member who lived here in 2002. They were okay.
