I have lived in one of these properties for the last 4 years and have had such an incredible experience. First, my apartment was absolutely adorable and had so much character! It was also so close to Miami valley hospital where I worked during medical school, close to downtown, the oregon district, and UD’s campus which allowed for such close access to amazing restaurants, bars, activities, and great parks! On the few occasions I needed to contact property managers/maintenance they were very quick to respond and to help me with anything I needed. David and John were especially kind and helpful! I’ll miss my cute apartment and the team so much and wish I could bring them with me to my new city! If you’re looking for a comfortable place to call home in a great location, this is it :)

Went on the agreed time after making a appointment yesterday. Was told as he opened the door that someone already got it that morning. I believe it's unprofessional to not give someone a phone call beforehand after making the effort to drive there. (Did give my name and number at the time appointment was made) not a good look.

Tom was good to rent from. I had one unit in a duplex and it was very cute with a historic feel. He put in new appliances before we moved in and let me give input on what we wanted. When issues came up they were always addressed within 24 hours. His maintenance team is family but they have years of experience and everyone lives close by to be able to help quickly. We really did have a good experience living there.

I’ve rented two places from Tom. Both very cute artsy historical spots. One was this giant one bed room with beautiful mansion doors. When I was ready for a full size house with a backyard, Tom was very accommodating by showing a some of his properties before finding one that fit my needs. He took great interest in making sure I loved my next home. Maintenance and fixes needed were always done within 24 hours and the staff was always very friendly/family vibe.

SLUMLORD - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. At initial move in there was large furniture still in the unit, and the place was not clean. Spent hours cleaning before move out only to never receive any security deposit due to fraudulent claims of breaking the lease (he offered a lease extension that we did not sign). Locks were broken several times and were not addressed. Back stairs of the unit were a complete fire hazard. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
