Sonder House Apartments

I just want to leave a positive review for sonder house, the new front office staff is doing such an amazing job, Crystal and Tia are really doing their best to help the residents and turn the property around! Thank ya'll for doing the best you can for us!!

My wife and I applied for these apartments and have trying to get an update on the application and have not heard back. We paid our application fees and deposit already. We have left voicemails and sent email's and no one ever responds. The calls go straight to voicemail unless you call after hours, and then someone answers from what I believe is an after hours call center. We explained the situation to the representative and he stated that he would send a message to the leasing office for someone to reach out to us the next business day, we'll we waited and no one reached out. At this point we are tempted to contact the better business bureau because we feel like we are being scammed.

We lived here for 2 years. We were one of the first people to move in, and this place is absolutely awful. I do not recommend ever thinking about living here. The time we lived there, we had more managers than i can count, and none of them would do anything to help. They dont answer their phone, they were out of the office most of the time, they wouldnt do anything to help. In our time here, we had the fire alarm go off 3 different times. The 3rd time someone knocked off the sprinkler head and the hallway flooded past the mail room. The next day they ripped up the carpet, and it was like that for about 3 months. The building was unsecured, people would just let others in, there were several shooting, one i was almost in the cross fire of, and there were homeless people that would sleep in

I was thinking about living here and decided to look at the reviews firsr. All the problems reported by the tenants have solutions, but the property managers are replying that it's beyond their control...that there’s nothing they can do. Take accountability and offer solutions! Numerous people are complaining about getting towed, put up BIGGER, VISIBLE signs... if you have any posted. If your tenants don't feel safe, hire private security. If the building is dirty, hire people to clean it. If children are causing problems, hold their parents accountable. You're chasing potential renters like me away when you leave careless feedback instead of helping your tenants.

Had a horrible experience. Filled out a application in February. No one never answered the phn so I had to go there every time to speak too some one. The 1st time I went up there I seen about 20 applications for only 2 apartments that they had available. They told me that they was working on my app and said I was missing one thing and I brought it right back. I should have got my money ordered then but I was so desperate to get this place. Was denied because didn't have enough credit which is Bs and was told I was getting mailed a check which I don't understand because I gave them a money order. I been waiting 2 weeks for that check and still nothing.
