Avoid this place at all costs. The building has chronic hot water issues every cold season. Under the previous management, at least they communicated with tenants about ongoing problems and repair timelines. The new management team, however, has zero interest in addressing tenants’ basic needs. Communication is practically nonexistent. The new in-house maintenance guy (I believe his name is Glin) is very kind and attentive, but the upper management is just terrible. If you move in here, expect to deal with inconsistent or no hot water throughout the winter. On top of that, the insulation in this building is extremely poor. UPDATE Nov 2024: we’re now into our third year in this building and I am downgrading my review from 2 stars to 1. We have had hot water issues on and off several times since March 2024. It’s been clear since that time that there were major issues across the entire hot water system but they refuse to spend the money to actually fix the problem, and instead replace one part at a time only for another part to fail shortly after. Finally, I have to write this review. This is probably one of the most disheartening experiences we’ve had with apartments. The garage door was broken for more than a month with constant reasons for why the garage door cannot be repaired. It was finally repaired after almost 2 months. Until then the management would take no responsibility for safety of the cars in the garage for which they do charge an additional amount per month. There was a night security guard for about a week or so, but not the remaining time. There is also a constant disruption of hot water. There has been this disruption for the past couple of months. Update : Do not rent this property, the homeless problem is still there! The management says they hired a guard to keep homeless people from entering the building but they just kept the guard for a few days and it's been months now and there is no guard but the homeless people are still there. They even seem to have failed inspection in a number of units and are being inspected again. Also, watch out when your time comes to move out, this management has a tendency to ghost residents when their lease is coming to an end, they will try to dodge every attempt you make to contact them and then say that you failed to give them a 60 days notice and then try to TRAP YOU into either renewing the lease or moving to a month to month higher rent contract!
