I lived in Solaire for 13 months, and while I personally never experienced some of the issues described in other reviews, I would not lease here again. The application process was extremely opaque, and I never got confirmation that my application was received or being reviewed, and only after repeated calling of Westland properties and the solaire office did I hear anything. The move-in process was easy, but there were issues with the apartment at move-in that never got resolved. This included a non-functional dishwasher and garbage disposal that I requested maintenance for, which just never came. I had a very poor experience with this apartment community during the application process. I fully completed the application, disclosed that I am relocating for work, and paid the required application fee. At no point in the application, screening criteria, or documents I signed was there any language stating that out-of-state applicants or remote employees would be automatically denied. Only after payment and submission was I informed that my application could not be considered because I am currently out of state, despite having verified full-time remote employment and meeting income requirements. Patricia was so kind and helpful while I filled out my rental application. The unit was a great size for me and my 3 children and the plan is to proceed! A bonus was that she smelled amazing as well. Made it that much more easy to complete the process ☺️
