Slowe Apartments

I’m a New Resident moving into the Carver Apartments and I’ve just received my Welcome Letter. Mrs. Hernandez and Melodie have been nothing short of Helpful, Accommodating, and quick to Respond Via Email. The Process has been Seamless and Stress Free. I look Forward to making this place my Home for the Next year or so and to help foster a Community where everyone can live in peace and Comfort.

I lived here for two years and watched this apartment decline. The free coffee machine was removed, the ice machine has been broken for a year and a half, the gym has broken equipment, and the list goes on. There's someone different working in the leasing office every 3 months, yet somehow they all have nasty attitudes. As a previous Howard student, I wouldn't recommend this place to any young adult because they try to take advantage of young, honest individuals. The management sends so many complaints about trash and doormats being tripping hazards, but fails to focus on things that actually matter.

This building management is extremely unprofessional. We had packages, including a passport, stolen from the mail room and they refuse to take any responsibility. They have not had working cameras for several months within the package room and refuse to fix them. I would absolutely not live here again.

I currently reside here. The neighbors are loud, dirty and some of them steal your mail. The apartment building claims that the walls and windows are sound proof, but they aren't. I can hear everything that everyone says and does. There's a trash shoot, but instead of putting trash in the slot, people leave it to the side and it piles up over the weekend til the point where you can't enter the trash room, and it gets pests. Packages are also being stolen from our package room, which means other residents are stealing them. The "cameras" they have don't help at all. Beware: They always make things look nice for potential renters and their representatives are very nice, but in reality when the property management company isn't here, things fall apart, and no one responds (don't be fooled).

My child has lived in Slowe apartments for almost 2 years before leaving. I can say that the it is unsafe to live there. The front door to the lobby is broken. They had be countless of times where my son called for maintenance to open his door because the fob malfunctioning. We do not recommend to staying here.
