This place is absolutely beautiful!! The staff here is great!! I was fortunate enough to get to view and lease with Valerie!! She's amazing and the sweetest!! You can tell she really cares about her residents and making sure they enjoy their time here at the moderne!! I'm excited for this new chapter at The Moderne!! <33

Why are the owners or Regional manager not reachable when major issues are ongoing? vs the Slate manager saying I'm the one who makes the decisions? After asking in person or email, why upper management do not respond via email, meet one on one, or actually call you to understand ? is it too much to ask ? The slate greystar will act friendly, but will talk about you behind your back, not professional, right?! Signed my lease in March 2024 and was required to provide a cashier’s check immediately !!!!!!, which I’ve never experienced anywhere else. Even after doing so and opening a bank account that same day, I wasn’t given access to my apartment right away and had to sleep in my car for two nights. Stay away from this place, you'll thank me greatly in so many way!! Set your car on reverse, drive carefuly, look left & right & escape from the poor vibe, awful environment, none existing upper management, because they dont really feel it's necessary to educate their employee on guests interactions, satisfaction or safety procedures to be honest based on my TRUE personal experience!!!!!!! The heavy Metallic door was never repaired & management never beleive it was that important, even though hot air was coming in!! until they had to spend couple bucks. I felt i was in a surviving mode because my next door neighbor was heavly smoking & i could here him whooping coughing through the thin walls & vents, in addition smoke was ongoing all around my apartment inside & outside, not too shab

I recently moved into Slate Scottsdale, and I am extremely happy with my decision. My apartment is absolutely beautiful, and the entire property — inside and out — is impressively clean and well‑maintained. I want to give a special thank you to Jessica in the leasing office. She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. I had many options to choose from, but her professionalism and genuine warmth made Slate Scottsdale stand out. He is very professional, incredibly helpful, and provides exceptional service. Just moving out of Slate after living here for a year and overall it’s a good complex! Biggest perk of living here is the maintenance team! Cuco specifically was always on it! Every time I submitted a request Cuco or the maintenance team would show up at my door within two hours or so and help with whatever I needed fixed. Always super friendly and attentive which is hard to find at most complex’s! That was truly the highlight of living here! Having a maintenance team that goes above and beyond like that is very hard to find. Almost all of the encounters I had were airbnb guests so I think the complex is heavy in airbnb/short term renting but not a bad thing, I just never knew anyone who lived at the complex so I wouldn’t say it’s a super social complex. Only big downside of living here
