Things I would've liked to know before purchasing in Skyhawk. You will be told the fiber internet is already installed and takes 20 minutes to activate and be up and use, this is correct. What they don't say is the modem and router are out of date and can not be updated because the wire used to install it was CAT 5 and new updated equipment that can handle majority of the populations internet usage, requires CAT 6 wire. The builder will not cover the cost to install the correct wire to have the correct modem/ router. They also install it in the garage which makes it not central to the living spaces for the devices to reach, so you will also have to pay out of pocket for the relocation along with rewiring in order to get the correct equipment for functioning internet.
