This apartment is unsanitary at all times - elevators constantly have dog feces and pee, as does the dog run on the rooftop and the carpet in the lobby. The entire rooftop is unusable because of the smell of pee. We know when somebody is about to tour the place because that is the only time anything gets cleaned up. We have brought this to management’s attention many times with no corrective response. When we first moved into our unit, several electrical appliances and lignts were burnt out, and there was no hot water. The bathrooms don’t have vent fans for some reason, and the doors don’t close properly because they are not properly fitted to their frames. Walls are very thin, so hope and pray that your neighbors love life isn’t too bad or too good. No real insulation so if you move in b

I would strongly advise anyone considering Six Cord Apartments on Washington to do extensive research before moving here. Our experience was nothing short of stressful and unfair. Our family was evicted under circumstances that were handled poorly and without proper communication. After my daughter went downstairs to grab a snack from the marketplace following a walk with our dog, the dog relieved himself in the area—something I was completely unaware of at the time. Instead of addressing the issue appropriately, management, specifically Maggie, handed my fiancé a letter stating that we had 10 days to vacate the property. What makes this situation even worse is that the incident occurred on the 11th, yet neither my fiancé nor I were made aware of it until the 19th, when the eviction noti

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Moved in a while ago and left, old management was better but wow this place sells you on unfulfilled promises. It’s always dirty here now, trashy residents, multiple robberies including an armed home invasion but they legit do not care 😂. Oh also EVERY SINGLE ceiling in this building leaks, they get a tax credit for not messing with the antique floors since it’s an old building but when your neighbor above spills something it will come STRAIGHT through to your apartment, I hope you like waking up to a beer being spilled on your face at 1 AM, there is 0 liquid barrier confirmed by construction/maintenance it’s just wood with wood underneath. If your stuff gets messed up? Tough luck. Picture this, you just got home from a long shift at work, made your bed with fresh sheets

Love this place! I have lived at Six Cord Apartments in downtown St. Louis for a year and absolutely loved it. I started in a 1 bed corner unit and liked it so much that I upgraded to a two bedroom halfway through my lease. The building is stunning and full of character, a thoughtfully restored 100+ year old garment factory that is truly one of a kind. My neighbors are cool, and I love all the dogs in the building. The management team Angie, Maggie, and Sarah… INCREDIBLE. They are responsive, professional, HILARIOUS and clearly care about the people who live here. Added bonus, my new favorite restaurant The Moniker is right downstairs with an entrance in our lobby. Shoutout to Jordy and Merf. Make sure you check it out. Six Cord is a downtown gem and I would recommend it without hesitatio

Absolutely LOVE Six Cord Lofts — 5 Stars! I can’t say enough good things about Six Cord Lofts — this place earns every one of my five stars. From the moment I moved in, I felt welcomed by a warm, friendly atmosphere and a true sense of community. The attached lounge, The Moniker, is lovely for hanging out or entertaining friends, and having excellent local spots like the Asian restaurant Sen and Stanley’s Cigar Bar just steps away makes going out effortless. Need breakfast? The Rooster across the street is perfect. The building hosts fantastic resident events — ping-pong tournaments, seasonal activities, and occasional meet-and-greets — so it’s easy to meet neighbors and have fun without leaving home. Management is phenomenal: they respond quickly to any need through a super easy-to-use
