Silver Oaks Apartments

Been here 2y although l feel some things should and could be worked on #1 strictor screening for Renting would cut down on a lot of extra expenses for the complex keeping rifraff from Damaging property #2 pet issues lots of abandon Cats that just keep multiplying very few pick up after their Dogs if they had a Designated gatted play pet area would cut down on stepping in poop . But I think they Do the best they can with what they have to work with one must try to remember management has to follower Rules from corporate office and something just cant happen.

This place is disgusting don't waste your time. As you can see all the 1star reviews are because you can't leave 0.....pest problems..roaches roaches roaches...ac problems....unprofessional staff that dresses like that in the club, super rude not helpful in the slightest. Save your money and the headache!!!!! This place sucksssss...hopefully they get a whole new staff that Actually makes things right and cares about their tenants! People don't go out of their way and leave reviews because they're bored! We all have lives....do better make things right around here.

I lived here for 1 year and the apartment was not bad for the price but my truck’s rims were stolen and it was left on bricks. I was extremely paranoid that it would happen again that it was hard to sleep. The management team did not see this as a reason to release me from my lease agreement and made me finish the time on my contract. The AC’s brake down often during the summer because they’re old and they do come out to fix but not always in a timely manner since they’re always busy.

I lived in these apartments when they were first built. That was 40 years ago! They were lovely. But even then someone stole a quilt from me out of the dryer. We found people jumping into and going through the dumpsters. I suggest the owners and management get camera systems on the property and perhaps even gates at the entrances. A little invested could go a long way towards security. I have such good memories from when it was GreyStone. The buildings are still pretty. I would suggest you give the problems on the property an overhaul and do more to keep the residents safe.

This apartment complex has consistent and serious issues that remain unresolved. Mailboxes are frequently broken into, leading to stolen mail with no effective response from management. There is a persistent infestation of roaches, ants, and rodents, and pest control visits have not resolved the problem. Mold is present throughout units, and instead of properly treating it, maintenance often covers it with white paint. The air conditioning is unreliable, often nonfunctional during extreme Texas heat. Water service is disrupted nearly every month, and hot water is frequently unavailable for entire weekends. Potential renters should review all feedback carefully before making a decision. This property may not be suitable for individuals seeking safe, clean, and dependable housing.
