Read this before signing to live here! I’m not somebody who complains a lot or write reviews, but this place is really not up to par in any way. You could assume your apartment won’t look like the model, but oh WOW does it really not! Me & my roommates moved in & it’s one of those places that no matter how “clean” it is it somehow is so disgustingly dirty. The whole complex smells faintly of trash as well. If you’re touring definitely go onto other floors and just check out the trash left in the hall, or the residue left from it (they can say people aren’t allowed to do it and that they send notices, but literally nobody listens). The price is insane for what you get, even if it was brand spanking new. Don’t be fooled as you could live in much better CLEANER places for the same cost around
Signature Hartwell Village is incredibly safe and convenient. I feel very comfortable walking the grounds at night. Kenneth, the property manager, is a great guy. He once noticed my car window was left open and called me immediately to let me know.
I rate a 2 star due to management. The property manger had my child move into a different apartment because he said his roommates didn’t won’t to room with him anymore. The apartment he relocated to had a pet which he’s allergic too. Didn’t accept his 1st doctor record so we had to get another one which took a total of about 2 weeks. Once we provided that doctors note we had to wait a week to get a response which was today and he’s told he’s moving back into the apartment he was moved from. I feel this was handled unprofessionally because you’re now moving him back into an environment that you removed him from due to his roommates. Living area is nice but for this reason I give it a 2
If you're considering living at Signature at Hartwell, let this be your warning: this complex is a textbook example of how to extract every dollar from residents while offering the bare minimum in service and transparency. Let’s start with the staff unqualified, unresponsive, and seemingly unaware of how to do anything beyond reading off a script. Any issue that arises is met with confusion or vague promises that go nowhere. Don’t expect real solutions—just delays and excuses. Now let’s talk money. The fees here are absurd and feel completely unjustified. The electric bills alone jumped over 200% without any explanation. No usage report, no reasoning—just a massive, unexplained increase that you're suddenly locked into for the rest of the year. It's either wildly mismanaged or intentiona
Avoid this place at all costs. Signature at Hartwell is one of the most poorly managed, money-hungry apartment complexes I’ve ever dealt with. It might look clean and modern on the surface, but don’t be fooled — this place is an absolute disaster once you sign the lease. Let’s start with Kenny, the so-called manager. He’s the king of being all talk, no action, and worse — he loves to talk behind residents’ backs instead of addressing anything directly. When issues come up, he either avoids answering, gives vague non-responses, or straight-up disappears. If you ever get a clear answer out of him, it’s a miracle.
