Posting another review due to yet another issue caused by Shenandoah’s poor build quality. This time, we had water leaking into our home because the flashing was improperly installed. As a result, we had to pay out of pocket for repairs, including replacing damaged wood sheathing and stone. The last two photos highlight the small piece of flashing that Shenandoah installed—where you can clearly see holes from incorrect cuts, along with a sloppy attempt to cover them up with caulk. Once again, I strongly urge you not to buy from Shenandoah. Their homes are riddled with issues, leading to endless headaches and expensive repairs. Save yourself the frustration and choose a builder that prioritizes quality.

My experience with Shenandoah Homes has been really positive. We recently closed on a new home and this builder helped to make the process seamless. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Any issues or concerns were immediately addressed.

I would not recommend anyone purchase a home of any kind from shenandoah homes. they do not care about the home owner. their only concern is getting you to sign the contract so it's not their problem anymore. turn around and run as fast as you can. This company is horrible. We closed on our home over a month and a half ago and they continually send only 2 or 3 people to do sanding and painting. the entire home top to bottom had to have sheetrock seams remudded and sanded. they are clearly not serious about not making this a major inconvenience to me and my family. i have 4 kids and the property is 1.5 acres. none of the property is usable for the kids because they never graded it. do not buy from this builder. the interior was so bad that my wife turned around and walkout out of our cl

DO NOT BUY FROM SHENANDOAH! Do not take any 5 star reviews of this company seriously. Shenandoah has no business building homes whatsoever. Our home was built in 2021 and they cut corners all the time. Any time we had concerns while the house was being built the project manager brushed them off and told us they wouldn't fix them or that it wouldn't be an issue later on. Most of our concerns were around the subfloor: water being left on them for long periods, squeaks, uneven sections, poor gapping, etc. A few months later after closing on the house, when winter hit we had squeaks on both floors and across every room. Shenandoah homes has been such a pleasure to work with during my house hunting. Their positive and uplifting attitudes made it so easy to find a house I adore! I will definitely recommend shenandoah homes to anybody who is looking for a house! You will not only fall in love with the houses but the people! Rays of sunshine each and everyone i worked with!
