Shadow Hills at Lone Mountain

Walked to check out one of the 3 bedrooms. Online they showed they had 3 available at the time I went. No virtual tour for a 3 bedroom. So I walked in. The lady in the office said they had no units to show me. But now I show there is only 1 unit left. She told me she would call me or send me information about them. But I have yet to received a phone call or anything about the community. Other places I went to send me everything. Office lady seemed lazy. Sad place looked nice.

I really enjoy living here! The location is super convenient—right off the freeway, close to Walmart, and there are electric car charging stations nearby, which was a big plus for me when I was deciding where to live. This side of town is pretty quiet and doesn’t have much traffic, which makes getting around easy. The area feels safe enough, and the community itself is really nice. The grounds are always well-maintained and clean, which I appreciate. The staff are friendly and easy-going; they don’t bother you as long as you pay your rent on time, which makes for a relaxed living experience. If I had to mention any downsides, I’d say the building is a bit older, so sometimes the breakers trip and the toilets and cabinets are a bit dated (think brown cabinets). This is a wonderful luxury apartment community. The manager Jose made sure that my move in 2015 from Oregon was smooth and easy. I started out in a two bedroom second floor apartment that met all of my expectations. The apartment was spacious and each bedroom had large walk-in closets. The kitchen was filled with ample cabinet space to accommodate all of my kitchen gadgets. The balcony patio yielded a wonderful view of the picturesque sunsets and mountains to the west. In 2017 I moved to a three bedroom first floor apartment in a building near the rear of the community just next to the wall separating the apartments from the 215 freeway. Shadow Hills has been home to our family since 2017. It’s a quiet, comfortable, friendly, and clean environment. The property manager and office staff have essentially all been the same since we moved here. The property’s longstanding employees are a testament to their investment and commitment to the community, and they’ve been here longterm for a reason. Jose, Ivy, Jon, and Roxanne are the epitome of professional. They strive to be accommodating and proactive, making themselves readily available and responsive to any situation that may be a problem for a tenant or the community, and they genuinely caring about everyone who lives here, pets included. This place has a sense of family and togetherness about it, and it’s a great place for anyone to call home.

I moved here in July and I have absolutely no complaints. I received a thoughtful welcoming gift on my move in date, and a cute birthday card signed by everyone in the leasing office. The management team is friendly and responsive, and the maintenance team is knowledgeable and respectful. The community is quiet, and I love our amenities and community events. So far, I have not had a problem with the apartment, staff or neighbors. I can honestly say I am grateful for finding such a great place where I can live peacefully everyday.
