⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ After researching so many apartments in Santa Rosa, Shadow Creek Apartments truly stood out as the best—and after living here, I can confidently say it exceeded our expectations! Neal, Micah, and Anthony were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire time here, always making sure everything ran smoothly. The security team also gave us such peace of mind, and we always felt safe in the community. The complex itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by towering redwoods and featuring great amenities like a pool and gym. The location couldn’t be better, nestled right next to the creek and lakes, making for such a peaceful and scenic environment. We’re going to miss living here, but we’re so grateful for the wonderful experience! Highly recommend Shadow Creek to anyone

Worst management staff I've ever encountered. Don't rush to write reviews until you receive your final statement after moving out. Read through other reviews and stories about deposit and charges before making a decision to live here. The only decent guys here are the maintenance staff. They charged me $1000+ in addition to my whole deposit for carpet replacement, even though only a single spot was noted during two final inspections. I went to court and lost the case. I thought it was an obvious and easy case and didn't prepare for hearing but they did. I will continue to fight with them through further legal procedures. If you want to roll your dice and unexpectedly go south, let me know and I'll spit out all the hard lessons I learned from dealing with them and the lawsuit.

Writing this review based on my partner’s and my experience: Pros: extremely friendly staff -Very helpful maintenance personnel -Very responsive office- helped me out of a couple of jams! -STUNNING grounds -Community garden -Quiet apartment -Quiet community -Beautiful apartment -Safe location -Pet friendly (with a great place to play fetch with your dog!) -Close to shopping and city amenities -Community garages Cons: -The power was shut off quite a bit due to the location -Small fitness center -Ants were in the apartment the entirety of my time living there (First floor) I LOVED Shadow Creek as did my partner. This is primarily a review of management, especially Cindy: They straight up stole our deposit. My roommate and I lived here for 18 months and paid our full rent on time every month, even through the pandemic. We took very good care of our unit. My roommate once dropped a potted plant while watering it in her bathroom sink, cracking the sink basin. She also snapped a couple of blinds in her room. This was the extent of the damage to our unit. Upon move-out, we paid a carpet cleaning company to professionally clean the carpets, which only had average wear and tear and zero stains. We went out of our way to clean the unit very well. We spent an entire week cleaning the unit top-to-bottom. I am very picky. I don't write reviews very often. I'm giving Scott 5 stars! Shadow Creek is a lovely complex. The water fountains and mature trees make this place feel relaxing and restful. Research shows that looking at greenery increases T4 cells. Live here and you might live longer!
