Seven88 West Midtown

I’ve lived at Seven88 West Midtown for over a year now, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. A huge part of that is thanks to the incredible staff who truly make this building feel like home. Vincent, one of the maintenance technicians, deserves special recognition. Even though I live in a privately owned unit—where maintenance isn’t technically his responsibility—he has always been patient, friendly, and willing to offer guidance when I’ve had questions about small issues. Today, for example, I mentioned that my water wasn’t heating properly. Within minutes he stopped by, checked the panel, and immediately identified the issue. His help solved something I’d been dealing with for weeks. His professionalism, attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond are unmatche

I’m a tenant in the building and have had a really positive experience here. Courtney is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, which makes a big difference when anything comes up. The maintenance team is also great. Issues get handled quickly and professionally. Overall it’s been a really comfortable place to live and I truly enjoy being here.

I genuinely love living here. The concierge and leasing staff are fantastic, the building stays clean, and the units are beautiful. Maintenance techs Mario and Vincent are standouts. They’re always friendly and get issues handled fast. My only complaint is the constant concierge turnover. You finally get comfortable with someone and they’re gone. The frustrating part is that the person who actually needs to be replaced is HOA manager Kortney. Nobody in the building likes her. She’s known for being dishonest and not keeping her word. Im going to hold your hand when I say this. DO. NOT. DO. IT!!! I went and toured this building on January 15th and loved the particular layout they showed me so I done the application the same day. This is no lie, I called the next morning to ensure they received the application because the apartment was still showing on the site. I asked to speak to James(which was amazing) they proceeded to tell me he was fired an hour ago and that Mcintosh (which was amazing also) would be helping me. One week later I was approved and had a move in day set for March 3rd. Around the first week of February they called me to tell me they had to replace the door on my apartment and that they needed to move the move in date back "about 2 weeks but they would get a new lease sent over shortly". Moved into this building in March. Overall, my experience so far is “okay.” The pros: amazing concierge team (Jalen and Brittany), amazing leasing agent (Marquis), and the unit is nice overall. The cons: external building is dirty, my windows have been disgusting since I moved in which defeats the purpose of having floor to ceiling windows. The building manager Max is unresponsive to emails, I’ve heard back once regarding an issue and haven’t heard back since (yes I’ve followed up). The gym is small and has bare minimum equipment, for what you pay in rent you’d think the gym would be state of the art. Also, the pool area is small. Overall I’ll give the building a 3/5.
