Scottsdale Horizon Apartments

Exploring my options for a new home has been such a great experience with this community! I especially want to shout out Ashley, who was amazing. She was super friendly, really patient with all my questions, and made sure I felt totally comfortable throughout the entire process. I couldn't have asked for a better experience while deciding where to live!

We rented apartment 1015 for our daughter. Don’t do it! There was a huge hole that we pointed out to the employee when we looked at it. They hung some plastic over it as if that’d be enough. This apartment even with us paying for extra pest control had a major roach problem. Two months into a 10 month lease, we moved her out due to the roach problem. When my husband and I went back to clean the apartment and turn over the key, a huge puff of smoke released into the apartment from under the sink. A pest guy knocked on our door and came in and said to the guy on his phone “I found it! I found where they’re coming in”. They had rented us the apartment that was ground zero for the roaches. Of course they did! 5k to break the lease. Unscrupulous is the word that comes to mind. I feel better let

I have lived in these apartments for almost three years coming up this March, and it has been some of the best apartments I have lived in. Very peaceful neighborhood with stores in walking distance and a beautiful scenery of the mountains nearby. I did have an issue with a leak after one of our storms which caused water damage in on of our bedrooms, but maintenance got on top of it super quick ensuring our safety (especially around the holidays, which I was super thankful for).

I promise you can find other properties in better condition and running more efficiently for the same price in the area. Avoid living on the first floor unless you want your apartment to flood everytime monsoon season comes around. For the most part when you are able to speak to someone from the leasing office in person they are great, unless you bring up concerns of your apartment upon move in, then they may scoff at your concerns of nails poking through the tops of your kitchen cabinets and issues with bathroom vanities coming off the walls. Prepare yourself for your AC to have issues whenever a rainstorm occurs and be told it’s simply because the building is “old”. Pet owners will not pick up after their animals and there will also be outdoor cats using every outdoor space as their litt

I didn’t end up renting an apartment here, but I want to highlight how wonderful Jerad was during the process. He is truly a kind, patient, and genuine leasing agent who goes above and beyond to answer questions and make you feel comfortable. Even though I didn’t sign a lease, I really appreciated his professionalism and friendly approach. If you’re looking for someone who is supportive and easy to work with, Jerad is definitely the go-to person at Scottsdale Horizon.
