Lack of finishing detail. Lived in this new construction home for less than one year and compared to other national builders buying from PLH is not worth the extra money. During walkthrough they will say if you can't see the defect from a certain distance it isn't going to be worked on. I'll include photos but you can definitely tell they just rush builds out. This includes dry paint on carpet, mice dropping issue during inspection in the crawl space they responded that they didn't see any when they went down. Now as a more seasoned home owner mice do hide in the daytime and have caught over 50 in the crawl space. Very poor paint in the garage with dried paint drip. Another image includes the center of our fireplace with the wood being cut very unevenly. Make sure as new buyers to be sure

Builder seemingly makes quality homes but they aren’t worth the business. It’s a builders game. Having made an offer, they rejected part of it which is fine as a counter usually occurs. They notified us late on a Saturday night, then a few hours later around 10pm said they would accept our offer. Prior to Tuesday, when they said they were taking another offer this is the last written info I have from PL. I sent them all info requested on Monday and they sat on it. Someone is playing games but it’s not me. “ I sent you a response via email but please disregard. The builder will accept your offer but need it signed by end of day tomorrow so we can cancel staging which is scheduled Monday. Please send me all full legal names of anyone on who will be on title along with their phone numbers

The houses seems to have great views

My son and his wife are having a house built in this beautiful area with a great view looking down the hill. Can't wait for it to get done.

Hot day and overcrowded. Not many homes to see unlike past years. Too much money for what is available to see. Won't be going again.
