Sand Lake Pointe Apartments

If I could give this place a 0 Stars I would. I've lived in this apartment complex for over 5 years, and it absolutely sucks. If I had the money to break my lease, I'd be running away without looking back. These apartments are not worth a single penny when it comes to maintenance or management. Since the management change, everything has gone downhill. The maintenance company is useless they supposedly "fix" things, but nothing ever stays fixed. My air conditioning has been broken since JULY. Every time they claim it's repaired, it breaks again within a week or two. Most recently, they said they fixed it on Thursday, then took away the portable AC they gave me on Friday, even though the central AC was still NOT working. Do not expect working AC here. Our apartment stays 82–84°F during the day and barely drops to 79°F at night, even with blackout shades, ceiling fans, and extra fans running. Cooking feels like cooking yourself. We’ve complained for years, but confirmation towards maintenance request is: “Its working” 😓. while our power bill is $250 (on a good month) or more; a month. The AC systems are old, inefficient, and need full replacement, Living here in the summer is miserable! Other than the A/c issues, minor complaints with neighborhood, rent is affordable w/ central location.

I lived at this property for 2 years and although it wasn't perfect, it was a good place to live for the most part. I never had complaints about noise or bad neighbors. Most of my time there was good. Sure there are things that could improve but overall I am grateful for the time that I was there. Furthermore I want to thank Annessa for helping me from the first time I stopped at the office to fill out my application to the moment that I decided to moved out. She was always very helpful and kind and I also want to thank German for making my moving out process as smooth as possible. He was also very helpful with all my questions and concerns. Thank you guys for everything!

I moved here 3years ago. at the beginning everything was good. never had an issue. the management was good, always respectful and always there to help you. but now its been hell they changed management and didn't inform there tenants. I've been at the office a couple of time due to my neighbors, they don't respect that your trying to sleep at night running and stomping at all hours at night but they want you to call their 24hr security after hours that I've have only seen here a few times over the course of living here. I don't understand why they even in the office if they can never help you. they are supposed to clean the halls between the apartments once a month but the hallway in our building was filthy for three months straight. Is a good and affordable place to leave, the apartments needs a little bit more of maintenance, I leave in a third floor and I don’t have any insulation and it gets really hot and my electric bill keeps going up, pool is closed most of the year and it will be nice if we could enjoy it with kids. The apartment location is the best, there are a lot of stores, restaurants and grocery stores near by.
