A great community and a convenient location in the charming town of Salado, Texas. There are a couple of great builders building in the neighborhood. The amenity center is absolutely stunning. I've been brokering real estate in Central Texas for over 20 years and this is a community I would call home myself.

So, on a rainy Father’s Day afternoon,looking for something to do, I saw an open house sign for The Sanctuary in Salado, Texas. Leaving Main Street and going past Barrow Brewery, I followed the signs. Cruising the streets of the developing subdivision, I was pleased to see progress since last Fall. The recreation buildings had made advancements and the pool seemed it would be quite entertaining. The winding streets, sidewalks and nature paths were a pleasant sight among staged home building sights. We were looking to move to Salado and found the Sanctuary. We stopped by the model home where we met Mrs Peggy. She has been wonderful! She walked us through the entire process and it has been extremely easy. Peggy has kept us in the loop every step of the way. We get weekly updates with pictures and what to expect in the upcoming week. She has been available every time I have a question and responds quickly. This entire process for many can be pretty stressful but the communication with this company has been anything but stressful. So grateful for Peggy and Castlerock builders. Brock who is the man in charge of building the homes has also been awesome to work with. He’s been there each time we meet and lets us know exactly what’s going on. My experience at Castle Rock has been great and very hassle-free! The builder generally stuck to the expected timelines and they put a lot of attention to detail on all of my requests for customization. The process was very straight forward and communication was very consistent and transparent throughout the whole process. For a production home community, I thought they did a terrific job with streamlining the overall process and making this a pain-free homebuying/building experience. I highly recommend this community and think both Peggy and Brock did an amazing job working with us.

I absolutely hate that it has come to this, but unfortunately, our wonderful experience came to a crashing halt as soon as we moved in to our home in Sanctuary. Unless you are interested in purchasing a new build that will immediately require work and repairs, we recommend you look at another builder in the area. 1. We were asked to reselect our interior package roughly one month after signing our contract. The new package included a different flooring, that was clearly a much cheaper product than the initial Rigid Core we has selected, and we are now dealing with having to move into a hotel and have all of our belongings moved due to the glue down LVP crap, for lack of a better word, being defective and needing to get completely replaced.
