Salem Glen Apartments

I’ve been here for a few months, so I feel I can give a honest review. The positives: the neighborhood is quiet, the grounds are kept nice, everyone that I have ran into both neighbors and staff have been pretty pleasant which is nice. Also, my unit is very spacious. The Negatives: the roaches. I’ve been here for 4 months & I’ve been dealing with roaches since day 1 of moving in. The unit was literally infested, I would see multiple every day! I’ve had pest control come a few times so far & it works for maybe a day or two then I start seeing them again. There needs to be a mandatory pest control of all units due to us all sharing walls!! I’ll start with saying this isn’t a paid or incentivized review. I’ve been living here now for 4 months so I believe that’s long enough to write a honest review. From day one (touring the property) the front office staff was patient, kind and accommodating. Mrs. Melanie in particular is an angel sent from God Himself. She not only handled me as a future resident, but as a daughter she’d never met. 90% of why I moved here was because the care shown to me by Mrs. Melanie. I appreciate that she doesn’t sugar coat anything, she’s a straight shooter and her direct approach is an asset. Additionally, she is intentional about the directives she gives and wants nothing but the best for her residents (this is how I feel). This Review is simply for Nadjea "Nas" she has been so amazing with helping me with my transition into my new place. She is very kind, understanding and she goes above and beyond to make sure she gives you the best service she can provide. You don't always have a genuine encounter with people that are in apartment offices and it felt really good to get that from her. I absolutely appreciate everything she has done for me and I highly recommend working with her if you plan on moving into Salem Glen.

On Monday 06October2025 I had the awesome opportunity and experience of a lifetime to meet our Salem Glen Property Manager Mrs/Ms Wendi Walker. She was so kind, patient, sharing, caring, loving, compassionate, and understanding. Also, she and her entire staff: Mrs/Ms Alba, Ms Raketa, and Ms Nas all were very nice and exhibited professionalism to the highest degree. If you’re considering moving here, PLEASE READ THIS. My experience at this property has been extremely stressful and unsafe. I repeatedly reported severe habitability issues, including a broken furnace during cold weather and an active multi-species roach infestation. Despite communicating these issues to staff multiple times, nothing changed. This property cycles through management constantly, yet never actually fixes the problems. The roach infestation is severe, maintenance does not handle work orders properly, and the overall management is unprofessional and unreliable.
