I liked that the utility package was included, which really helped since I had a roommate. The building is older, but being in Chapel Hill was convenient, and I had one of the upgraded units. I lived here for two years, and for most of that time things were positive. The problems started when KPI Residential took over management. In the last two months of my lease, the AC was not cooling properly. My roommate and I submitted multiple work orders, but the issue was never fully fixed — only patched — until we eventually gave up. When I moved out, I did receive part of my security deposit back, but I was charged an additional carpet cleaning fee that I did not agree with. We had a large area rug, never ate in our rooms, and had no pets. I reached out to the office several times asking for doc

This has been one of the most frustrating and completely infuriating experiences I have ever had anywhere. First, the property mangers feel it is necessary to do a re-plumbing project while the tenants are still living there. They had no intentions on offering lodging or any other accommodations saying, "this is why you have renters insurance." Please explain why State Farm should be responsible for putting me and my two kids in a hotel because you feel the need to tear my apartment up, to replace the pipes that have been working just fine I might add. This was not an emergency and could've been handled differently. I didn't feel like I could cook in my kitchen because there was insulation hanging out of the ceiling in two places. GROSS! I am a single father of two and can't afford to eat

Recently moved to Sagebrook of chapel hill. The staff have been exceptional to work with, very helpful and responsive. Friendly community. Great location. Well designed buildings - love the breeze ways about the buildings and lots of closet space inside the apartment. Had to make a few too many maintenance calls in the first weeks and a bit concerned about the quality of apartment's appliances and materials used in renovations, other than that great place to live!

I lived here for 5 years starting in 2016. The apartment was ok but I was a student who couldn’t afford any better. Several times the roof leaked causing water to drip on my head while I was sleeping. It took them three times to actually fix this. The most annoying part was that the management changed just before I moved out. On the day I was moving out, I had just returned my keys, got in my moving truck to drive several hours to a new state, the office called me saying I hadn’t told them I was moving out and would have to pay two months rent. I had definitely informed them of my intention to leave at the end of my lease several months before hand. However, the only proof of this was in a message I had sent to the old management which used a web portal they had since shut down and I wa

I have been living in these apartments for almost three years and there is always a problem with something and they never solve the problems, almost a year ago I have a problem with the air that from time to time an unbearable plague comes out and we have already gone more than 6 times to notify it and they do nothing about it... that’s to say that the apartments are like labyrinths and everyone gets lost to arrive, all my packages are left lying down other corridors or in other doors... and not only me in the residents’ portal there are only people complaining but Even so they don’t do anything... and whenever they come to do a job they leave it halfway.. terrible, terrible!!! And all the reviews below with 1 star; I completely support what they say.. we also had problems with the air tha
