Jim said he would be here between 3-4. At 330 i went in the backyard assuming here was starting outside. He claims he came to the front door and knocked. I didnt see any car pull in the driveway nor did i hear anyone outside. He did not try to call my cell phone which he had. When i called him he yelled and cussed me out on the phone and said find another appraiser. Very unprofessional, aggressive and borderline abusive. Very disappointed.

Ryan Appraisal Service is out of touch with the property values in Loudoun County, cost us a great deal of time and effort dealing with a VA refinance, and the appraiser has a conflict of interest that should be known to other home owners. When I was discussing the value of our community related to others in western Loudoun county, the appraiser made a strange comment, " well it's not better than X ". After I got the incredibly low appraisal, I went and investigated the appraiser - finding out that their home is in X community. The appraiser / owner bought a home in a subdivision that was supposed to be a premier golf community but the developer didn't get approval for the golf course and now owners have no clubhouse, no golf course etc... which I feel bad for.
