I really loved living here, quiet and peaceful community that's very safe. The only downside is the laundry needs an upgrade. The maintenance guys are so nice and always gave my dog plenty of cookies and pets. The folks in the front office were always so reasonable, helpful and easy to communicate with. I literally never had any issues living here, it was always just really nice. The borof of Clayton is great to live in and the locality of these apartments were perfect to walk to the grocery store or the ice cream stand or walk across the street and grab a pizza for dinner. I cannot say enough good things. I would recommend this place to anyone

July 2025: Asked Manager Dan (Subcontractor) after 10 yrs living at Rustic Village and never late on rent and only wanted to switch to downstair apt. I was told to pay $450 increase to move and pay what the street pays. I'm a military widow 73 yrs old and they both laughed its my problem said I'm lazy and should move to senior place. They both lacked respect and treated me like trash. Rustic Village is not a home wish I was making this up but its all true.

The apartments are cute and cozy. Management is on top of things. I lived there for 3 years. No complaints.

I have lived here since 2011 and when I move it’s gonna be out of state. The office and the maintenance crew ranked number one. There is nothing to maintenance crew wouldn’t do to help you and they are on the bar if you have a problem they are there. People complaining about the price and everything I guess they haven’t checked all over when you pull in the driveway you see all the landscaping done during the summer they know like twice a week if it needs it. Not one person that has pulled in to come to my home has not had something nice to say about the way these apartments are kept up. They are constantly when somebody moves out trying to redo the apartments, I live in a town home and couldn’t ask for a nicer better place to live!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I lived here during the last year of college. I was in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit. There are two styles of this type, the difference being the way the kitchen is connected to the living room; not too big of a difference though. For students, this is a large space, compared to student housing. That's the only reason this place doesn't have 1 star from me. The living room, bedrooms, and hallways are carpeted. I thought this was a nice touch at first. Now I know it's a ploy to take your security deposit. Obviously, you will have couches, bed frames, dressers, and other things that will have some weight to it. This then will leave a "mark" on the carpet when you remove these items. I was charged an ungodly amount to "replace the entirety of the carpet", just because there are small dents in
