Nothing but positive reviews for this building!! My husband and I lived here for 18 months and every single person who worked in this building went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. Maintenance team was so quick and responsive, concierge team was a delight to come home to (Dolores, Robert and Pernell made our days) and leasing team was nothing but helpful!! Not a single complaint!!

Joanna the community manager at ruby is an absolute superstar. She makes the whole moving process so smooth, she is so helpful, responsive, and understands what i’m looking for. From my first email enquiry, to in person tour and moving in - Joanna is one of the main reason why i chose this apartment, she makes the entire process seamless. I’m new in new york and it’s been a long process to choose my first place. Ruby offers just about everything - close to many subway lines, best coffee shops and restaurants, rooftop pool, modern spaces, 24/7 doorman, clean modern gym. It’s just the perfect area where you’re 10 mins away from west village, hudson yards but also midtown and nomad! It’s amazing. Management is very quick, loving it here so far. Living at The Ruby was a great experience. The building feels upscale and comfortable, with well-designed spaces that stand out from many other rentals in the city. The maintenance and management teams are professional and responsive, always keeping everything in top condition and addressing any issues promptly. Joanna was especially helpful throughout my time here, quick to assist with any questions. Overall, it’s a well-managed and high-quality place to live—I’d definitely recommend The Ruby to anyone looking for a home in New York.

I had a very disappointing experience with the apartment tour at this building. During my first visit in October, the leasing representative failed to share key information about the property. Specifically, based on my direct questions, I was told that: • Amenities were included in the rent. • There were no limits on the number of guests I could bring (for example, to the pool - which I explicitly asked). • There was flexibility to negotiate on price or free months. After the visit, I never received a follow-up email with a recap of the apartment details, which most buildings typically provide the same day. When I called two days later, a different staff member informed me that no free months were offered and that amenities were not included. I also followed up by email requesting to spea

I moved into the Ruby in May, and since then cannot come up with one complaint. For a new building, I have been very impressed that there have been little to no hiccups, and if any (although very rare and minor) they are addressed immediately. I also cannot speak highly enough of the staff that go the extra mile day in and day out. All of the front desk staff (Sharrell, Prenell,Dolores,Robert) treat tenants with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Additionally, resident manager Julio is alway wearing a smile and quick to assist with any need (nothing is too big or too small for that man). All in all, in the noise of NYC, it’s nice to have found an oasis (and community) in the Ruby.
