Roth Properties

So far we have had nothing but great experiences here. If something needs fixed, they come in promptly to do so! But thus far not much has needed to be fixed as it was quite clean and greatly taken care of before move in! There are some things that could obviously be fixed or taken care of, but it’s all due to just an older home. If there’s something I can fix that takes maybe 10 minutes to do or even five dollars to fix - I’m going to do that on my own and not reach out to them! Otherwise, they answer all maintenance requests, text messages, or even phone calls quickly! Very thankful to be in our home and thankful that we are accepted by them quickly! Maybe we are lucky but I do recommend them!🤍

Absolute slumlords. Many unfulfilled maintenance requests. If they were filled, they would be the cheapest possible solution. Our refrigerator at move in would freeze over in the freezer section, even if it was turned all the way down. I believe it was a seal issue. When they came to look at it, they replaced it with one that was at least 5 years older, and way smaller. Then told us it was our fault that it broke...because we had too many things in the door shelves...we most definitely didn't. Before we moved in, we asked them to seal up the front door, and bay doors in the house. They had about a 1-inch gap under both. It made our electric bills outrageous due to A/C. We requested it to be fixed almost immediately after move-in, again, because it looked like nothing had been done to fix

This is one of the worst landlords we have ever experienced. We lived with them for almost 4 years, always paying our rent on time, never being loud or disruptive to others around us, not breaking any lease agreements and all of a sudden our drain in our laundry room started flooding whenever we did laundry. It would flood with water and sludge from years and years of being backed up in that drain, it was awful to smell and horrible to clean. They came and looked at it a couple times trying to fix it but couldn't, they then evicted us in the middle of winter with a 5 year old and me being pregnant, due to the drain issue. They even told us they would give our deposit back to help with the stress. Not only did they keep our deposit but they sent us a letter yesterday at our new place saying

I rented his place off sw9 across from the park. I refused to pay rent as my windows wouldn’t lock, the glass was falling out and my front door didn’t lock. He informed me I shouldn’t be worried about my heat because he pays it. I insisted it was over mine and my daughters safety. As she was only 10 and I was a single mom. So instead of fixing my broken issues, he decided it was worth it to heat the outdoors just so he can be a victim? Idk. But long story short he evicted me and my kid on CHRISTMAS DAY. Actually insisted that day to the mediator. I’d give zero stars if I could. Don’t trust Roth homes. I now have an eviction on my name after going my WHOLE LIFE making sure I never got one. Going without myself, just to be sure I made ends meet. He doesn’t care about his clients he only care

My family lived there for over 4+ years with the roof leaking water into the bedrooms all the time. Also the windows and doors were so old it was freezing in winter. They never wanted to replace the stove or the fridge that were so old. Its like buying your own house where you have to do the maintenance
