Rockledge Oaks

Rockledge Oaks is a community in Southeast Lincoln. It is well-maintained property-wise and centrally located to malls, shopping centers, coffee shops and MoMos (my favorite restaurant)~! But what's really special about Rockledge Oaks is its staff~! From the office folks to the maintenance crew, all are really attentive to resident requests and respond timely and promptly in terms of any maintenance issues. I disagree with the reviews that say the apartments are well maintained. The complex is very run down as you can see from the outside. There is peeling paint everywhere and it has been going on for many years. Most appliances, carpet, counters, and windows are very old because they are from when the place was built. Apartments are drafty and not well-insulated so utility bills are high and you can hear your neighbors. The basic monthly fees tacked on to the rent are about $150 now. If you have a pet there is a lot more to pay but I'm not sure how much. Garages are another $75 or more. There has been a lot of car break ins and I think a car was even stolen. I am very happy with my 1 bedroom apartment. It feels spacious, has plenty of nice windows to let in the light, is very clean and well-kept, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They got me just the type of apartment I was looking for and the moving in process went smoothly. My neighbors are friendly as well. I feel very safe and it is nice and quiet. I was worried moving from a 3 bedroom house, but I couldn't be happier now. I can't wait to use the pool in the summer.

Have greatly enjoyed living here the past two years. I consider Rockledge to be a tiny town inside Lincoln, and Deb in the main office is the mayor of our town. She’s a good mayor, and I would vote for her if it was an elected position. The maintenance guys are cool, it’s a small crew so you get to know them. They respond quick even late at night. No place is perfect, but things mostly went really well for the past two years. There’s always enough parking, and the soundproofing is good because we really didn’t hear our neighbors much at all. Everyone’s respectful, some like to chat and others keep to themselves, I don’t know, it’s real life haha I’m just reviewing what life is. I had an overall good experience at Rockledge. The units are beautiful, office staff is so friendly and accommodating, and they take pride in making sure tenants are satisfied. Amenities are great, including valet trash. I thought my rent was low for how luxurious my apartment was and all the amenities that came with it. That being said, I did have some issues living here. When I moved in, there was a cabinet filled with moldy food the previous tenant had left, a shelf in my fridge was broken, parts of the cabinets were coming up and were taped down with Scotch tape, my washer was not working properly (it would shake vigorously when I would use it), my water pressure was very off, my dishwasher did not work properly because it was filled with food scraps from the previous tenants, and my
