I applied for an apartment a couple months back and paid $50 for the application fee only to be ignored. I have never spoke to an actual person, and nobody ever answers the phone. After a few weeks I received a lease for the apartment through email and it had the wrong date. After I explained the date was wrong, 2 weeks later it was explained that I can just change the date on the lease myself (which I could not) finally I gave up and rented from a different place. Now I am beIng charged $880 for rent and deposit, with a late fee, to a place I never signed a lease for, never met a single person, and never received keys for the apartment. I was sent an email about the confusion and Road runner took away the charges as well as sent an apology.
