This complex was physically and mentally harmful to my health. It was so horrible I had to get police involved multiple times and a lawyer. Truly one of the worst experiences of my life. Do NOT live here. I could go on and on about the truly horrific things I experienced: - Entire staff QUIT the week I moved in - Apartment was NOT ready on move in day. Cleaners were there and it was clear the apartment was TRASHED (paint on cabinets, door off hinges, many damages, sink ZIP-TIED in place, blinds fell off window on my head) - Repairs from initial move in NEVER made (after 1 year & half) - black mold (confirmed by mold inspector I hired) that complex just simply covered up with a board after I notified them - Pool turned green & black, shut down by DHEC TWICE - Window repair man came (
Shout out to the front office (Ashley) and the maintenance team (Justin & Jose) for promptly addressing my maintenance issue. My toilet in the master bath wasn’t functioning properly and needed attention. They came to my place within one day of submitting my ticket to investigate and determined it could not be fixed. Within two days of that, my man Justin and Jose brought a new toilet and had it installed in less than an hour. I also want to acknowledge the professionalism these men and Ashley displayed throughout this entire process. The tide at Riverview is shifting, and it’s moving in the right direction. We moved into our unit 6/16/25 and were in shock at the state of our place. All stainless appliances were stained severely, and the entire place was covered in dirt and filth from the last tenant. They didn’t even consider to scrub the ring in the toilet or dust the least... it was as if someone moved out the day before. Most of the appliances did not and still till this day does not function properly. When we shown the unit to the office next day their excuse was that the last tenant was filthy and had to be evicted, the unit was in a very bad condition and they could not restore it in time for us to move in YET still took our money and deposit for our move in day weeks prior…. It took multiple visits for maintenance to fix / clean our unit which should have been done before we moved in,
This review is specifically for Justin, one of the current maintenance men. He came out to my apartment yesterday (superbowl sunday) on an emergency call that I had placed in. My shower handle had fallen off and I wasn't able to use the water. He arrived in a super timely manner and made sure things were fixed before leaving. He's a truly stand up guy! I was able to chat with him easily while he was working and he made me feel comfortable and reassured me throughout his time in my home. Thanks again, Justin!
Pros: -Great space in the apartments, nice floors, updated appliances -Cant beat the location-60 seconds to the 77 highway, down the road from Fort Mill, 10 minutes from downtown, really a great central location. -Lots of parking Cons: -3 property managers in less than a year -Maintenance has entered my place without permission more than once -Trash Fee's. You pay around $40 every month just for trash, $30 for valet, and $10 for general trash. The valet trash comes with rules, like they collect Sun-Thurs and you can put your trash outside your door after 5pm and you have to have the can back inside by like 9am the next day something like that. The problem is, the valet trash is done by a 3rd party company, and sometimes those workers quit, or don't show up. So at least once a month (but s
