Riverview at Nyack

I recently moved into Riverview apartments and from day one Michelle and Freddy have been amazing, accommodating and responsive. Any questions or issues I had, I received prompt response and issues were handled. I feel very comfortable and at home due to them. The grounds are nicely maintained and buildings are always clean. My neighbors have been lovely as well. Overall very happy to be living in Riverview.

Currently residing at this residence… this is my honest review since I moved here Oct 2024. Moved in mid month, move in was a nightmare. The apartment was not cleaned properly, and I still have paint stains all over my floor. Within the first two weeks I put in about 10 work orders for repairs. Since moving in there have been about 4 water shut offs ranging from 1-2hrs to an entire day. One of the water shut offs was due to a water main break in the village that had residents on a water boil notice for 5 days due to risk of bacteria contamination. The building did not alert residents of this, and I only knew about it because I signed up to receive town alerts. As a result of this Residents had no heat for an entire day during freezing weather. Our 7 month experience at Riverview at Nyack has been overwhelmingly negative, with issues including poor communication, lack of accountability, constant repairs, and inadequate security. The apartment images circulating the internet are nothing but a fantasy. Water shutdown: Since our move, there have been 10 water shutdowns. Residents are informed of shutdowns as they are occurring. These shutdowns have occurred within the same week and can last up to 5 hours. After the water comes back on there are changes to the water color, temperature and pressure. It can take up to a day or two for the water to go back to “normal”. Parking issues: Assigned resident parking spots may be occupied by outside contractor cars without notice. Riverview is a great place to live. Grounds are kept clean and maintained. Nice quiet community with welcoming neighbors. You can always reach the on site staff like Michell, who always helps with issues promptly.

My move in experience was very nice. The leasing agent was very accommodating to my requests and questions. I appreciate the kind service and help securing my new home.
