Riverbend at Wappingers Falls

I have nothing but good things to say about Riverbend Apartments. Marie is a wonderful person and is always on top of things when managing the apartments. The maintenance staff is also great. Maintenance issues were always addressed swiftly and were taken care of. Air filters for the hvac systems were replaced regularly. The landscaping and property in general were always kept up and looked nice. As for the bad reviews of this place, it's likely that they didn't follow the rules themselves, or were too picky. Rules are in place for a reason. Each apartment is given 2 parking spaces to use, but many residences will fill their garages up with stuff and can't park their cars inside. My husband and I moved in a month ago and I'm incredibly happy with our decision. I appreciate the peaceful atmosphere of the community, and I'm excited about the future here.

First and foremost, Marie the property Manager has to deal with tenants who complain when they are not happy with decisions or rules that Riverbend has. As for the parking it is clearly stated in our leases that we have to park one car in the garage and one in our driveway. There are spaces that are available for our guests. A lot of those spaces are used by tenants that use their garages for storage. Unfortunately there are not a lot of available spaces, but certain tenants fell that THEY are privileged and should get those spaces. In turn when Management says they are going to be towed the animosity sets in. One thing I can't understand, as much as I would like to park on those spaces, don't blame Management we all knew this when we signed our leases. I find living here is GREAT. Rules

Riverbend was a great community when I moved in a few years ago. The past 6 months however have been a nightmare. So much so that I considered ending my lease early despite the penalty. What once was a well kept, quiet community has now turned into a free for all, dirty development in which no rules apply because no rules are enforced. My neighbors’ dog barks constantly, right below my bedroom 24/7 to the point where I can’t sleep. I have complained at least 6 times to management with no results. Cars double park and block my walkway and part of my driveway constantly because they are too lazy to park In visitor parking. Again, complaints fall on deaf ears. Garbage cans are left out for days after garbage has been picked up. I have stepped in dog poop numerous times bc people don’

This apartment community is tight-knit. Everyone from staff to renters are friendly and helpful. The apartments are in good condition and offer amenities such as central air conditioning, washer and dryer in every apartment and more. Recommend these luxury apartments that feel and look like condominiums. Also some units have their own one car garage.
