River Ridge Apartments

The furnaces in these apartments don’t work, when you call for maintenance, the person who answers doesn’t know English very well. So when you say your furnace isn’t working, they for some reason think you’re talking about your water heater. The “maintenance” are actually just residents that aren’t very qualified for the work, and get their rent lowered to do the work. They will take forever to get your request fixed.

This management company and owners on the complex are slumlords. They do not care about you once you move in. They treat you like you're the problem because we want the things they are required to give us within the contract we signed. For 8 months now, since I moved in my bathroom ceiling is leaking from the upstairs apartments used toilet water and bath water. The health risk is crazy to me and my special needs son. I am now withholding rent and I will be suggesting other residents do the same thing. I have a legal aid lawyer on standby. Corporate will not answer me and I will no longer deal with dawn the manger of this complex location as I feel I am being discriminated against. She seems to like people who trash their apartments while pushing those of us aside who treat these apartment

*Edit to add: Still takes about a month for maintenance to get done. Thought it was just me until I spoke with neighbors. Currently an elderly woman is going on week 5 without a stove because hers was leaking gas. Nextdoor still has a hole in their ceiling from a leak repair a year ago. Silverside Management is an absolute nightmare. Moved in June of ‘22. Live in one of the townhomes up front. The month after I moved in the complex was sold and is now ran by Silverside management. Office staff and maintenance are a joke. Currently have two and half month old maintenance requests. Basement floods. Furnace and AC don’t blow on the second floor. The company they use for snow removal does the bare min. Pool is falling apart. My rent went up $240 a month after being here just one year. Manager

Dawn and Kim are the very best Property Managers I've ever worked with. Not only did they go out of their way to make me feel special and important but they helped me with all issues I faced. I am so grateful for each of these lovely ladies and know they provide outstanding service to all clients because they CARE!!

Ok, let's be honest. Old Dawn and Kim used this place to their own benefit. What was good for Kim was all that mattered. Old Dawn was caught doing no, no's with the finances and was replaced. I've lived here longer than that. Now we are under new management, new Dawn, and owners. The rent has been jacked up a lot higher. Maintenance is not being done. You put in a request and after a little time, it's closed without a reason or resolution. Snow doesn't get plowed. Lawn service is done by butchers. We get shut off notices for non payment of the apartments utilities. Both before and after Kim. Bring your tools and knowledge because that's how maintenance gets done in a timely manner. A neighbor of mine paid $400 to get the furnace air ducts cleaned because they had 3 inches of accumulated
