Rise at the Retreat

This place is absolutely horrible.If I could advise anyone, do not rent from any forty eight rise properties at all. The day of moving, I find out AC is broken on top of that. I was told all the paint had been redone I was told it was clean. The day prior which was all a Li the photos show dirty scuffs. All over the walls, urine residue all over a toilet that is labeled, sanitized as well as dirty socks and trash under the sink. And all over the floor to top it off, get roaches in the sinks and all over the place upon speaking to corporate, they ask you to submit paperwork about your complaint being. This is my first day I'm living at this place and now I have to be here for an entire year Corporate tells me the apartment was as is and they will not do anything to fix any of the problems.

I lived at 1025 E Orange St, in one of their apartments and honestly, my experience here was one of the worst I’ve ever had with an apartment complex. The place itself looks fine from the outside, but once you actually live here, you start to see how poorly managed and maintained everything truly is. First of all, the roach infestation was absolutely disgusting. It didn’t matter how clean I kept my apartment roaches were everywhere. I reported the issue multiple times, both in person and through email, but management did absolutely nothing to fix it. They would either give vague excuses or simply ignore the messages altogether. You’d expect some level of concern for residents’ health and hygiene, but here, that doesn’t exist. Then there’s the laundry situation, which is just another nigh

I was a prior resident here for 3 years and this was my first apartment. I would advise others to not move here unless you want to be mistreated. The front off staff are nasty people. They have been extremely rude since the day I moved in with any concerns or issues I have had. I have never dealt with a more rude staff. I am writing this a while later because I just had a recent interaction with them and AGAIN I was spoken to horribly and talked over the entire time. When I moved out I made sure to pay all balances and confirmed with them verbally that everything had been paid off before moving. 6 months later I get a collection bill in the mail stating I owed $202 and they didn’t advise as to why! Ms. Tanya, the rise at the retreat community director is the best director that has been at the property. She helped me with my renewal, she made it so effortless. She is so nice and kind and respectful. She is one of the main reasons I’m okay with renewing and staying for another year. Thanks Ms.Tanya I look forward to getting to know you more.

Natalie, Para, Julio, Luis and Alizia have all been amazing at the office! I know i see a lot of people writing reviews about roaches but keep in mind it’s the same people that live in absolute filth and I seen get notices on their door for a health and safety violations! I have my home clean and had never had any issues with a roach! I’ve been here for 2 years and going on 3!
