Brad Ekhoff owner operator of Rio Grande Homes does unlicensed, uninsured home remodeling and repairs. His plumbing and tile work does not meet any industry standards or New Mexico regulations. We made the mistake of hiring him to remove and rebuild our master shower. The shower drain he built leaked from day 1. He left an open drain vent pipe in my wall so wind and rain could enter from the roof. He did not correctly install the shower pan for water integrity and failed to apply any vapor barrier over the cement board and behind the tile. The cement board was so poorly installed it resulted in tile that don't lay flat and look terrible. We had to have the shower ripped out, plumbing repaired and then rebuilt from scratch. Ekhoff refused to refund any of the money we paid him for

Brad was beyond helpful during the entire process! Being first time home buyers we were way out of our comfort zone and by some miracle Brad walked into our lives and found us the perfect home. He answered every question we had and went above and beyond to help us with anything and everything we needed. I don’t think we would be sitting in our new home right now without him. Brad sold our Albuquerque home and we were very pleased with results. The pictures he had taken were amazing, and we're convinced they helped to generate interest. We were not living in the area when the house sold, and Brad helped us decide which of our multiple offers to take, and he also helped us with minor repairs once the house was sold. He was always available by phone or text whenever we had a question.

Brad Ekhoff was amazing in helping us find our forever home. We lived out of state and he was willing to drop everything, sometimes on very short notice, to set up viewings and find unique houses for us to tour all over Albquerque and the Sandia Mountains. After we put an offer in on our now home, he drove out of his way to check on it weekly to ensure repairs were being completed and the property was secure. Two days before flying in to sign the closing paperwork the hot water heater blew flooding some of the rooms. Brad was there, working with the selling agent, to get a new water heater installed and the water cleaned up. To say he went above and beyond would be an understatement! He put our minds at ease, which can be difficult from many states away, and made sure everything went smoot
