We sold our home in DC in May 2024. We had decided to retain Rima's and Layla's services based on our previous experience with them in 2020 (when we bought the very home we were now selling). Rima and Layla both know the DC market well -a must when it comes to valuation of the property, the critical first step- and are both very professional, diligent and attentive to detail. They both communicate and anticipate well. We have worked with Rima and Layla on two occasions; they were our real estate agents representing us as buyers as well as sellers. I submitted an application for a residential rental, and paid a $55 application fee after speaking with Layla. I was told my application would be sent to the owner for evaluation and approval/denial within 72 hours. Unfortunately, that was the last I’ve heard from Layla (it’s been 2 weeks). I’ve officially been ghosted. Be careful about working with this group as not only have they collected an application fee, but they’ve kept me in the dark about the status of a rental I’ve been relying on.
