I owned a unit at 25 Park Place for 2 years that was managed by Richland Management. This management company is horrendous. Even before I formally moved in, there were problems. The super, Zenel Kastrati, is a terrible person. Early on, he went into my apartment without my permission and without even notifying me! The PM (Christian Antigua) and this super entered my apartment for a walkthrough without my permission and attempted to withhold my move in deposit because I "didn't have 80% of the floors covered", even though the rules only stated they would just investigate the common areas! They also didn't inform me until I had reached out to them! I can’t say enough good things about Richland! Kim was absolutely the best—she guided us through every step of my co-op purchase with so much patience, care, and professionalism. She made the whole process feel easy and stress-free, and I’m so grateful for her help. The service from the team was fantastic, but Kim truly went above and beyond. As a shareholder of a Richland managed building in Great Neck (and a member of the board the last 2 years), I have worked closely with Richland Management Company. Specifically, Ervin Mullalli and Aisling Smith. Ervin does an amazing job managing the day-to-day operations of the building and working directly with our spectacular live-in-superintendent (Mario). We can always count on Ervin to deal with any situation and be honest about what he believes is the best interest of the building. Aisling is our go-to for all things financial and more (...she used to also do what Ervin does for us now!). Terrible management. After 20 years of being a shareholder, I've watched my building decline in numerous ways. The staff is flat out rude to shareholders when there is a problem. Christian (staff) doesn't even try to be helpful. I'm sure it's a tough job but at least pretend to care about your clients.

Our co-op was self-managed for over 50 years and there were a lot of issues that needed to be addressed, both structural and procedural. We finally decided to go with a management company in 2019, and the first one we chose was a disappointment. Since Richland took over management of the property in 2021, things have improved dramatically. Their experience and knowledge, their strong community connection, and their excellent staff have all made a tremendous difference in the way things are going here at our co-op. Repairs are getting done, systems are being implemented, and complaints are being responded to in a timely and efficient manner. Very happy overall with Richland Management!
