RHL Appraisals

Loor lacks effective communication skills. Attempted to contact him by phone and email on the morning and time he stated he would be here. Did not receive a response. Had to cancel a priority meeting for work. Went through our house quickly, left every light on in the house, and left without any conversation about the house itself. Attempted to contact him to review appraisal and he will not respond. Lacks proffessionalism. Also he has not mailed our appraisal to us. He will claim its bogus but I can print the PDF appraisal he sent to Loan Servicer that quickly shows he has met us. Email date requesting response from his appraisal was Tue, Oct 13, 8:04 PM

RHL Appraisals was a great company to deal with. They were very professional and easy to work with. Prior to scheduling my appointment they answered any questions that I had. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Their price was very reasonable and they were able to work with my busy schedule by coming out on the weekend. If ever needed another appraisal I would definitely use them again. I highly recommend them.

We listed our house in May and it closed in July. This appraisal costed us $25,000 under the offer value in a booming housing market because the appraiser used comps from Belmont in Rocky Mount, rather than Nashville where our home was actually located. The appraiser also used comps from houses on our street that were less square feet, had inclined driveways, and were not on the cul de sac like ours. The most recent 2 houses sold on the same street have closed at similar value to our original offer that was under contract prior to the low appraisal. We had to renegotiate ours because of the appraisal. Both the buyer and the seller agent tried to get the appraiser to amend the report (it would have benefited both parties), but the appraiser refused to talk with them. This appraiser valued o

He is a very fair appraiser. He provided a very detailed report and used appropriate comps. I am pleased with the outcome.
