Just re-signed my lease for a year and I’m so happy I did!!! There is nothing more you could ask for in an apartment complex. The location is stellar, it’s well maintained, front desk and management are kind and helpful, and they have the BEST amenities. The pool overlooking the greenbelt is beautiful, I spent every second I could there last summer. I love the gym, the lobby, everything is always clean and smells great. I HIGHLY recommend moving here especially if you want to feel immersed in the beautiful nature Austin offers. The best apartment I have ever lived in by far :)
I’ve lived here for about 6 months and have genuinely had such a wonderful experience. The complex is extremely well-maintained, with a beautiful pool overlooking the green belt. Free cold brew and snacks all the time in the front office, with lots of monthly events to join in on. The actual apartment is also beautiful. Lots of trees and nature to make you feel as though you aren’t living 10 minutes from downtown. But close enough to enjoy everything Austin has to offer. The maintenance workers are great at their jobs, always being attentive and timely, and when something is broken they will always make sure it’s either fixed or replaced ASAP. However, I rarely have issues with anything that needs maintenance as everything in my apartment works great. Lots of wonderful parks for pets to en
I lived at The Retreat at Barton Creek for a year and a half. Pros: The pool area is beautiful and one of the highlights of the property. The grounds are also kept very well maintained, which makes the complex feel nice to walk around. The maintenance staff are amazing, very responsive and always professional when handling requests. The leasing office staff are also genuinely kind and consistently helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance. Cons: One major downside is the noise between floors. If you don’t live on the top floor, you will hear every single step from the person above you. It was disruptive enough that I ended up paying to move to a different unit early in my lease. My first unit also had a recurring flooding issue in the bathroom. Maintenance had to replace the
I would say this apartment complex was in the mid tier of apartments that I lived in Austin. The property is generally well maintained, although the apartments are definitely on the older side. The layout of my apartment was also strange, with the bedroom by far being the largest room in the apartment, while the kitchen, bathroom, and living room were all significantly smaller. There are also multiple mandatory fees like for “valet trash” and a package delivery service that you must pay unfortunately, if you rent at this complex, although this is pretty common with apartment complexes in Austin. The location is pretty central, with easy access to the other parts of the city. It was also convenient to walk to the plaza next to the complex that includes a grocery store, but otherwise I woul
We have loved our time at Retreat at Barton Creek! The location is unbeatable - nestled right against the Barton Creek Greenbelt, it offers a serene, escape-from-it-all feeling while being just minutes from downtown Austin for work and entertainment . Stepping outside to immediate access for hiking and biking trails has been a game-changer for an active lifestyle . The apartment itself is wonderful. We were impressed by the modern updates like the granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, which give our house a stylish and up-to-date feel. Having a private washer and dryer, along with a patio to enjoy the fresh air, makes daily life so convenient and enjoyable . The amenities are top-notch. The 24-hour fitness center is perfect for our schedules, and we've spent many weekends r
