Residences at Saltillo

We moved in November 2025. When I was searching for apartments, the reviews/reddit forums on this one scared me but the location was amazing. We went for it anyway. We moved into block 1. It’s literally perfect. I don’t have to leave the building to go to Wholefoods. I walk to Pilates, happy hours on the east side or downtown, walk around the lake trail often. I can’t imagine a better location for the cost. People were mentioning roaches in block 1 in the reviews - we haven’t experienced any bugs at all. Others mentioned homeless people in the stairwells/building- I’ve never experienced that. Of course they surround the building but…. You’re basically downtown. If you’re not used to a city environment, then it may be surprising or uncomfortable but they haven’t ever caused harm or distu

Moved here on 4/30. Read the review like everyone else beforehand and so far I’m enjoying living in Block 2. Chill, quiet building. Location is the best part of living here and it’s relatively inexpensive. Sam at the leasing office is GREAT. She was very responsive when I was applying and I was approved very quickly. They do a great job with community events, they’ve had 3 already since I’ve been here. Maintenance is also quick. The elevators have broken twice since I’ve been here but there’s two elevators and both haven’t been down at the same time. Definitely use their package service Fetch. I was stubborn and didn’t, and I had one package get stolen lol but I also did leave it in the mail room for 4 days so it was my fault.

Do NOT live here under any circumstances! Homeless people lived inside of my building, and I lived in fear daily. I was routinely mocked by the leasing office when I would go in showing these photos and expressing extreme concerns, and they would tell me to “just call 911” and that these issues were “assumed risks of being a renter.” Not only was it terrifying to live there, but the building is dirty, graffiti all over the internal walls, package is stolen, cars broken into routinely, and access gates down. There are plenty of other complexes in the same area, please go to one of them.

Loved living here for the past year. If I come back to Austin, I wouldn’t hesitate to rent here again. Never had any issues with anything. The staff is super nice, the amenities are amazing, and the apartments are spacious and well layed-out. Location is great. I highly recommend this place to any of my friends who are looking for an apartment.

Amazing stay at Residences Saltillo! Clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location is great and has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable place to live. I would love to see more EV chargers available for resident vehicles.
