Rent FAM - Fischer Asset Management

By no means is this a high-end property management company, but in my experience they operate lawfully, professionally, and with very reasonable response times. My property manager, Abdul, has been great he consistently goes out of his way to respond via email and text, even outside of normal business hours, and makes sure maintenance requests are fully completed before closing them. To highlight a few issues we’ve had and how quickly they were resolved: • A gas leak was addressed within 2 days, including outside of business hours. • Heat and the hot water tank were repaired within 11–12 hours. • An issue with the oven portion of the stove was handled within 2 days. This has been the worse experience. I have only been here a few months, and have had to put numerous maintenance requests in. Had a gas leak when I moved in got a shut off notice for the water on month 2 had another gas leak this past weekend. Have had issues with my heat/thermostat not turning on to the temp that it is set to. Had ice coming through the window while sitting on my couch. They want you to have all your ducks in a row to rent you something that’s falling apart that they just made look pretty. Make sure you check everything before attempting to move in any of their properties.

If i could leave a 0 review i would. The property manager with the 1st name of Mark is a joke ! Once they get their deposit on a property & the bills are in your name they don't care about nothing else. There's no emergency maintenance line to call & Mark turns his phone off on the weekends. They never return your calls. If you try to fix something yourself instead of waiting 3 weeks for maintenance to show up they say it wasn't approved 1st & don't even reimburse you or deduct anything off the rent. Properties they own are very overpriced to live in Cleveland with crime happening right next door.

I’m terribly disappointed by this company. I’ve been a tenant for over a year. My heat has been broken since October and they won’t fix it. They keep closing my maintence requests and it’s 61 degrees in my house again after they were supposed to come today. I clearly have a slum lord for a landlord because they have plenty of money to fix the vacant unit in this home but let me sit here freezing day after day ignoring my requests and calls. I’ve even tried to hire hvac myself and get no answer because this isn’t my house and that’s not my financial responsibility. Just keep paying rent who cares if the property is livable.

ALERT!! READ BEFORE RENTING ANY F.A.M. PROPERTIES!!! TENANTS BEWARE!! It’s been over 30 days since I moved out. I’m a little upset with this situation because I only had good things to say about them throughout my two-year stay. Unfortunately, I am having issues with them returning my security deposit. They sent me a partial check (LESS THAN HALF) with no itemized statement. I tried reaching out for the itemized statement and got no response. I went above and beyond cleaning my apartment to leave it better than I got it. There was one stubborn coffee stain that wouldn’t fully come out but legally, a carpet change can’t even be a charge and it most certainly doesn’t cost over $500 to clean or change.
