Rent Builder Property Management

Beware . Rent builders was managing 15 of my properties. This is the worst company ever. They’re not responsive to phone calls and very slow to answer emails. I Taking all my properties back from them. Thepictures are of a house that just went vacant this place was totally trashed. I’m estimating between 10 and $15,000 in damages. Most of the tenants complained about them saying that they would bring up maintenance issues that would never get fixed unless they were major. This is the second property that I found like this. They recently sold to company out of Dallas called Rome and their service got worse. I would not use this company landlord beware

The team at Rent builder has been phenomenal. Anything that comes up gets addressed swiftly, and they are always communicating scheduled visits far enough in advance to accommodate a busy schedule.

The process to set up my property was very smooth. They met me at a location that was convenient & everything transitioned very well. The management team did a good job. There were a few communication issues with repairs and a system transition, but was able to resolve with a call. The close out went very well. I like their documentation, photos, and honest assessment of wear and tear. I always want to be fair, and I felt that was done.

We're going on ~8 years with Rent Builder as our property manager. Albuquerque presents several challenges for both property owners and renters. Rent Builder has a high-quality, experienced, team to navigate this terrain effectively. We appreciate their detailed communications and ability to organize reputable contractors for repairs/upgrades. Keep striving for excellence; one of the great companies in NM.

When we moved in the house had weeds, the sinks had rust, bathrooms were dirty and the trash cans were full of garbage. It took a few calls to get them to come in and get new sinks. The fridge had to be fixed, had to call to get a new stove , get a new garbage disposal and the under sink area had to be replaced also had mold underneath sink. Water heater had to be replaced also, water went into closet. They dried it with a fan and put it back into the closet. It has a funky smell. They wanted us to touch up paint but don’t provide the paint, the paint they had was old. We lived there for 2 years . I would NOT recommend this rental company. We left the property better then when we moved in and only got half of our deposit back. This company is a rip off!!!
