If you have the most common job schedule on the planet don’t count on ever being able to use the common area with the pool table or ever be able to ask questions at the office. Sure they’re “open” Saturday’s but if there’s a holiday anywhere with in a month of that Saturday they’re gonna close it. Hands down. Got a holiday in 13 days? “Sorry we’re closed.” And sometimes it’s just closed for no reason. Just a big fat “we’re closed because we’re aren’t open.” And for some reason if the office is closed, so is the common area with the pool table. And don’t give me the whole “what if people who don’t live there??” excuse because you can access the common area through the gym which you have to have a key fob to access. Katurah the office manager was beyond helpful and a blessing to work with during our impromptu move. We had very little time to get out of our old apartment and into our new one. I was amazed by her ability to navigate the stressful circumstances with grace. Katurah made my family feel very well taken care of, from the application process to move in, checking in to see if any maintenance requests needed to be made. Which she made sure to address immediately. I'm beyond grateful to have had her in my corner during these stressful times. Moving is never easy, but Katurah made sure it was for us! Thank you so much miss Katurah!

Every day, something new comes up that I have to pay for. I was told my rent is $1,900, but on top of that, I have to pay for electricity separately. The most frustrating part is that our electric bill is always over $400, even though my mom and I are hardly ever home — we both work full-time. We even decided not to use the heaters, yet the bill stays the same, ridiculously high. We own a truck registered in California, and we’ve already received two warnings just because of the plates, as if that alone justifies harassment. On top of that, we’re being charged for a trash service that’s constantly overflowing and surrounded by animals. I live far from the dumpster, yet the stench of garbage and moisture lingers constantly around the property. Inside the unit, things are just as bad. The

I had a great experience working with Essence to move into my apartment. I love the location of my apartment (1st floor, view of the pool. Yes please!) I am happy and grateful to be here! Thank you.

Trash constantly piles up every weekend, this contributing to rodents and other animals having a large presence near my building. Pool is “closed until further notice” during the hottest part of the year, not to mention it did not open last year but is an amenity that is factored into rent prices. Items brought to the attention of maintenance are only prolonged and often never resolved. Individuals in the office often are not helpful and lack general customer service training. Overall would not recommend this community unless you are looking for a sub par place to live. Our lease will not be renewed.
