Remington Place Apartments

Stuff happens. I've lived here for a year now and have had a few instances where I needed help from the maintenance team. Phil and his crew have been great and have handled things well with me, even when I am personally strung out. They are responsive and get things taken care of. Maintence aside, it's tough to beat the location close to Lake Johnson and the trails. I've enjoyed my time here.

I don’t care what anyone says—Remington Place is the BEST apartment in Raleigh. I’ve lived here since 2021, and I have no intention of living anywhere else. The cost per square foot is the most affordable in the area, especially considering everything you get. It’s the only apartment I found that offers both a gas stove and a real wood-burning fireplace—huge wins in my book. The maintenance team is incredibly responsive. When my AC went out, it was fixed immediately. And when welding work caused some dust in my apartment, the property hired an outside cleaning company to take care of it. I was blown away. They cleaned meticulously—even steamed my couch. That level of attention is rare. Also want to shout out Phillip Marshall, the new property manager. He’s professional, fair, and quick

To start, Beltoria is the best property manager I've ever been lucky enough to rent from. She will do everything in her power to make your time at Remington Place great, and is a godsent. I stayed in a renovated 1 bedroom, and I'd say the construction was done decently. Maintenance is fine, about what I would expect from any decent apartment. Area is beautiful, and parking is easy. Be prepared for slightly more spiders than an apartment in the city. You're next to a state park, it's gonna happen. The apartment is good about having pest control out routinely. The only actual recommendation/con I have is for the carpet to be shampooed again since it was a bit musty/stale on move in.

I had a great experience living at The Remington Place for over two years—until the final weeks, which were unfortunately ruined by the new property manager, Philip. Prior to his arrival, I had absolutely no issues; Beltoria, the previous manager, was always responsive, professional, and supportive. Philip, on the other hand, made the move-out process unnecessarily stressful. Despite already submitting my release form to Beltoria, he claimed it was missing and demanded it again. He was falsely polite over the phone, yet completely unhelpful and dismissive. Most upsetting, he threatened to trash my CORT rental furniture, even though CORT had been scheduled to collect it the day after my lease ended. Phillip has been great. He explained everything that I needed to know thoroughly. He goes above and beyond any property manager that I’ve come across through my many years of renting. He is professional, proactive and kind. Thank you Phillip
