Biggest con in the rental market. Dont expect to ever see your deposit again if you rent from Rick and the New Heights team, they don’t run an ethical business by any means. We rented for over two years, paid every month faithfully for the entire time. Did not matter. If you’re a renter, look anywhere else before you give your hard-earned money to this place.

Horrible customer service. Lazy and unmotivated agents. I’m single and pregnant with a few months left, and I found the perfect property for my little growing family. I Called every day for a week. All I got was “we’ll call you back in 30 min” and no one ever did. The agent Rick finally called me and was very rude and said someone would call me back to set up a viewing. Never happened. Then they gave me attitude when I asked why I couldn’t get anyone to help me. I had to hire another agent unrelated to new heights to be the one to deal with them. Within 20 minutes of meeting her, she was able to show me the property. Even she had little luck getting new heights to take action. We rented a wonderful home in, Alamo Heights in October of 2018, and Remax New Heights has been nothing but wonderful! We have had few issues with the property , but anything that came up, they were on it that day, and always communicated above and beyond on anything involved with the home. Their service people are top notch and they review each service call with a questionnaire to make sure their contractors get the job down. The people at ReMax are accessible all the time, and very tenant oriented. They are 100% professional at all levels within their property Mgt group and we are 100% pleased that they are our property managers!

Great team at Re/max New Heights. They quickly helped us find a home and Jennifer Sample was kind enough to do multiple showings for us via FaceTime since we were relocating to San Antonio from another country. She was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended.

Horrible. Do not try to rent with Rick Gauna or trust anyone in this establishment. They lie to homeowners, cheat honest renters and will ghost you when you’re trying to get your deposit back. So many better options out there.
