We got our house back in 2010 from reclaimed space I think it was # 4. When we decided to add on 14 years later we called Tracen again. He came out and had a look and was thinking outside the box and thats what we needed. After just over 2 months we got a great living space that you would never even know it was a add on. Very happy and love our "new" house. Thanks to everyone involved that made it happen so fast.

In a world of cookie cutter houses and boring design, Reclaimed Space is a breath of fresh air in the Texas landscape. Their unique, environmentally-friendly houses made of reclaimed materials are efficient and beautiful. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to build a custom house for their rural retreats or in-town hideaway.

I had been searching online for a local builder for a "little," not "tiny," house when I came across Reclaimed Space. Their River Run Ranch house really appealed to me, and I found their use of reclaimed materials compelling. I visited the shop in Lockhart and had an opportunity to see homes in various stages of construction. I recently moved into my very own Reclaimed Space. Tracen, Mackey, and their team have been great to work with. They listened to how I was going to use the space and what I wanted, including plenty of storage and most importantly, a studio space for me to paint. They visited the potential site, and then designed, built and delivered a home that has both a sense of history (using timbers from a 150 year-old Kentucky barn and corrugated steel from an old Texas sil

Paid our $3,500 dollars for site visit and designing. Communication was AWFUL. We felt like we were on the back burner through the entire process. WEEKS would pass with ZERO contact. We just wanted to have a clue what was happening, where we were in the process, etc. Months into the process, I contacted Tracen directly with a concern about the lack of communication. He was immediately snippy and combative before hearing the true history. He certainly didn’t have a problem snapping at me but we found it interesting that he had a different tone with my husband. Not cool. Little did Tracen know, although my husband and I make all big decisions together, I’m the major breadwinner. Be careful Tracen... you need to know your audience. Interesting - just as MANY others had, I posted a bad review on Facebook. The bad reviews FAR outweighed the good so they just eliminated the review tab on their Facebook page altogether. Sneaky, shady, and deceptive... not surprised.
