My parents are selling their home, it’s been stressful. No communication, no explanations when they ask questions, just “oh it’s fine this is how we do things” My parents haven’t sold a house in 30 years. Take the time to explain it to them and trust they can handle it. Also follow through with what you say you’ll do- we were supposed to be emailed contracts to go over them for my parents- nothing. My mom has asked and was told yeah I’ll send them and nothing. frankly I’m angry at the lack of care they have received. They feel like their home was just a number and until an investor wanted it they were being ushered into taking a much lower deal.
