Real Property Management Regions

We had a sudden relocation that had us applying for homes to rent in the Fredericksburg area. One home in particular was listed by Real Property Management Regions- they were responsive and answered all questions thoroughly. They were upfront and honest with us that the current landlord may be moving back to occupy the home after the initial lease terms. I felt the company had not only their landlords best interest at heart, but ours too. I greatly appreciated this honesty because it allowed my family to make an informed decision.

Stay away!! It took 2 months for Real Property Management to prepare a lease. Think about how much buffer time you have to adjust after waiting for 2 months. All good if this was their first property, but 2 months is wild for a company with so many 5 star reviews. After finally reviewing the lease, that lease was filled with grammatical errors and hidden fees. Wildest of all, the lease stated that the tenant was only contact the owner, Real Property Management wasn't going to handle property management after the keys were handed over to the tenant!? Before writing the lease, it was specifically agreed that RPM was needed to carry out the lease term. Thankfully, this company was dropped and a new company (knew that what they were doing), took over.

Took months to write a lease and it was clear that this company has never even seen a lease before. RPM will certainly write the contract to protect themselves, but they will try to screw anyone else over. They will occasionally ghost you check on a status after a few days (on something they are delinquent on). I can't imagine what could have happened if we would have gotten under contact and an issue occurred on the property - the poor owners would have likely had a hefty bill due to RPM negligence. This might be mean, but this company really needs to learn what they're doing. Hopefully they can fix themselves.
