Regardless of the cold outside and of the loss of electricity in our hotel, our merry group of investors worked tirelessly to make the materials, the lessons, the jargon our very own. We not only hit the books, but we took our new found knowledge to the streets, or in this case, the three properties we were to canvas in semi-incognito guises, a studious group of engineers. RE Mentor does a great job selling the dream, they make real estate investing sound incredibly achievable, and their marketing is persuasive. Unfortunately, once you’re in, the experience doesn’t live up to the hype. They rope you into buying a conference ticket by making it sound like events are frequent and accessible. In reality, conferences are rare in any given region (maybe three times a year if you’re lucky), and they notify you of upcoming dates with very short notice—sometimes as little as a week and a half. That makes it incredibly difficult for anyone with a job or family to plan accordingly. Excellent program. Over the course of two-and-a-half days we marched through 200 pages of material showing us step by step how to secure our first multi-family properties, including how to analyze the seller’s materials, run numbers, and determine if a deal makes sense. Between Jeff and Jo, all of our questions were answered in detail. We also took what we learned in class and visited three different properties in the area. We surveyed the outside of the buildings, spoke with tenants, and even toured inside one of the occupied units and a laundry room. I would highly recommend this program to anyone new to multi-family investing.

Very professionally done. I enjoyed the wealth of information shared and especially the instructional style of all presenters. This was an eye-opening three day session. Now we just have to get to work and buy our first, second, third, fourth etc. apartment building. It’s comforting to know, we have a team of resources that can support us to achieve our ultimate objectives.

What an Incredible 3-Day Event! I just wrapped up an amazing 3-day event, and I can’t say enough about how valuable the experience was!
